The Spark is Dead

Tell all my secrets,
and open my scars.
Break me into pieces.

Because at the end of me,
At the end of me,
That’s where you start.

~Bebo Norman, “At the End of Me”

A shift is occurring. A paradigm has been remade. The way things were will pass away. Each of our personal experiences are of such a treasure. Our testimonies are like diamonds in the mud. Once cleaned, it can be a thing of beauty. Testimonies are very important to the Christian faith. It allows others to partially see the truth. That isn’t to demonize testimonies, nor to claim there is more than one truth. Please don’t get me wrong! Let’s put it this way: Our testimonies are like signs pointing to the truth. When bringing multiple testimonies together, it creates a bigger picture. One in which allows us to see what life is all about… It’s a difficult concept to understand, but it’s there.

The ministry is going to have a change in tone. For the most part, I will no longer give my own dark experiences. This blog states the death of me. You all know my scars by now. However, this will not stop me in showing the testimonies of others. In fact, that sounds like a good idea! Doesn’t it? With their testimony, this ministry will provide feedback on how it relates to the Bible. If you wish to mention your testimony in one of our blogs, feel free to send me, Caleb McCool, a message! I’d love to chat with you!

There is a disclaimer here. It goes without to say once you reveal your scars here on Facebook, it will remain out in the public. There will be no going back. Imagine going to your home church to stand in front of the entire congregation. What parts of your life would you say to them? What parts would you not mention? This is your choice! There will be no judgment on this ministry’s part. At the same time, no one out in the public will know if you hold back a secret if you do not tell them. So be sincere and truthful to both others as well as yourself. That would certainly be welcome.

I look forward talking with you in the near future. God bless.
